4 Elementos | Exhibition in Coimbra

On December 13, the exhibition “4 Elementos” will be inaugurated in the Chapter Room at the Convento de S. Francisco in Coimbra, as part of the “Cuidar de Um País” cycle.

Curated by Luís Santiago Baptista and Maria Rita Pais, it brings together projects by Inês Moreira and Joana Rafael, Mariana Sanchez Salvador, Miguel Figueira, and the cooperative trabalhar com os 99%/ateliermob, with contributions from the artistic team formed by Orlando Franco, Miguel Marquês, and Oleksandr Lyashchenko.

The exhibition brings together four readings of the Portuguese territory: food soils in Lisbon, coastal drift in Figueira da Foz, air marked by decarbonization in Matosinhos, and the impact of the Pedrógão Grande fires. The opening will take place at 5 pm, preceded at 4 pm by a conversation between the curators and scientific consultants José António Bandeirinha and José Reis.
