Review of the Detail Project for the Rehabilitation of the Housing Complex in Pedra Furada
We must not miss the opportunity to publish a brief comment on the review conducted by the team from Atelier do Beco da Bela Vista.
Our society and the business fabric promote rivalry, competition, and hostility among peers. It is not enough to demonstrate one's own qualities; more often than not, the art of disparaging others is cultivated.
In a manner completely contrary to what usually happens, the review of this project reached us with praising words about the execution project we produced. It should be noted that the analysis of all the drawings and documents is no less rigorous than those we receive on other projects – quite the opposite, in fact – but the reviewing team, indeed our colleagues, do not hold back in acknowledging what they consider to be well done.
The reviewing team for this execution project is from Atelier do Beco da Bela Vista, coordinated by our colleague Francisco Guedes de Carvalho, and we wish to leave this public recognition - a gesture of mutual respect between entities and individuals who do not know each other personally, but who respect one another for the work carried out.
It feels good to know that we are all working towards a better project. The Vila Franca de Xira City Council (the client) and the residents of the Pedra Furada neighbourhood will certainly benefit from this.
